This Privacy Policy explains how AccessBell ("AccessBell", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit accessbell.co, use our free website accessibility checker or subscribe to our services. We collect as little personal information as we need to operate.

Information You Give Us
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional company and website, the topic and plan you select, and your message.
- Accounts and billing: if you subscribe, your account details and billing information. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, under the Stripe Privacy Policy, and are not stored on our servers.
Information Collected When You Use the Checker
- The URL you submit and the accessibility standard you select.
- The public HTML of that page, which we fetch to run the scan. We analyze it in memory and do not store the page content after the scan completes.
- Your IP address, used temporarily to prevent abuse through rate limiting.
Technical Information
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time, for security and reliability.
Advertising and Measurement (Google Tag)
This website uses the Google tag (gtag.js) from Google Ads to measure how well our ads work, for example whether a visit from an ad led to a sign-up. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies, and receives information such as the pages you visit, your IP address, browser details and ad click identifiers. Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can control ad personalization in Google's My Ad Center and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Data Retention
Scan inputs used for rate limiting are held in memory for a short period and are not written to permanent storage. Contact messages are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward. Account and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active and as required by law.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit (HTTPS with HSTS), strict security headers, input validation, rate limiting and the principle of least privilege. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International Transfers
